Man, Nate, you should have been up at the guard shack with me today.

My buddy Alex rolls up on his way to work around 645 and dropped off a tin full of home-made snickerdoodles.*

Around 830 some lady rolls up and drops off a bag of chocolate chip cookies from the grocery store.

Then, at like 1230, the wife of one of the base police rolls up with a box of chocolate muffins stuffed with almonds and pecans and topped with caramel.

I should go into a diabetic coma right about..... now.

Sorry, JBub. I grew up in a house with 3 cats so I'm kinda inured to that sort of thing. Didn't mean to sound callous.

Is ok. Just never seen these guys do that and its hard to remind myself that they still have the prey drive. I'm glad I managed to save the baby bunneh from a couple months ago.  :-\

ok, JB... if mother doesn't show up...

i'd get a piece of cardboard, slide it under the bird (still covered)
then slide the cardboard (with bird on it) into a brown bag...

someone else can handle getting rid of the body...
is lethe around?  ;D
