If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Well that sucks.   Oddly enough, my Monster is one of the few bikes I've ridden that doesn't bother my back and neck.  Lucky me, I guess.
2000 Monster 900Sie, a few changes
1992 900 SS, currently a pile of parts.  Now running
flogged successfully  NHMS  12 customized.  Twice.   T3 too.   Now retired.

Sucks that your bike hurts you.  However, it's not the end of the world to get on something else.  Notice how they let me still post here ;D

It's not like you can't ride anymore at all. . . but I feel for you.

Just annoying-I do like the bike.

So no combination of seat/bars/pegs will get you back on it?

Or you tried some of that already?

blah blah blah....
its impossible to keep up with anything here.
you go out and ride all day, test ride hyper motards at the hyper truck, and look what happens.

a bunch of pages to skip.
If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

Tried a couple seats. coupla bars, ain't touching the pegs. Too much coin for me to invest on something I may never use.

I'm just going to ride the ol Honda for a while, and see if anything strikes my fancy in between.

So now she teaches MacGuyver courses?

MacGuyver is outside our scope of practice!

I make up stuff that reinforces the skills learned from the day.  I give two baby Annies to one student and have them choking on grapes.  Student goes to one rescuer and screams help my babies.  Sometimes the rescuers freeze. [laugh]   Part of sizing up the scene is knowing how many patients and how much help you need.

Then I  [moto] home in the rain.

Epic day today 'cept for the last 2 hours having to work.   (Excel spreadsheet anyone?)   [roll]

Stella suggested breakfast enroute to a mtn. bike trailhead.  Had a Monster-sized cinnamon roll and breakfast croissant with, what else:  bacon!   [bacon]
Then on to a trail system that we rode for a few hours (she kicked my arse).   Stopped at Evergreen lake, walked around there, then back in the car.
A mile later we spotted an elk.    Then another elk.  Then about a hundred elk.   In, none other than, Elk Meadow.    Stopped to take pix.   They just
stood and watched us like the dopes we are.    Make a stop at a favorite mexican joint then on to REI.  An hour after that, home to work and she goes
off on her Monster.

ok.  The truth is:   Maximus continues to work on his office-issued computer, leaves the home computer on and logged in and I, Stella, have taken control!

Just did 61 miles, about 5000' climbing, on the Orbea, in 90+ degree heat.

Bit tired now.
