Working at home today.

I have a client meeting tonight and haven't touched the project since I met with them last week.   [bang]

Good thing is going to be a crappy/rainy day.

The rain should help finishing greening things up though.  Just the larger trees left to complete leafing out.

I worked at home today too  ;D

I played Duc Dr.

I lent the TE to Grio as a DIMBY bike, and during the ride a few issues surface. Poor handling and a sticky throttle.

Prior to arriving at DIMBY I had adjusted the rear suspension up a lil because of a weak rear spring, that upset the balance of the entire bike. And at some point in the ride the throttle started to stick.

So today I took the tank, battery and airbox off and made sure all the throttle linkage points were proper.

I then removed all the controls and replaced the clip-ons with the bars that originally came on the bike when it was given to me. When I had installed the clip-ons, it was necessary to lower the front end of the bike to facilitate mounting the bars above the top triple. I love the look of the clip-ons, but having them mounted below the the top triple, made for the bars being way too low. So after having replaced the bars, I then raised the bike back up by pushing the fork tubes back down.

A huge sucess. No more sticky throttle, and a bike that handles waaaay better than before. One of these days I want to learn how to fine tune suspensions.

You apply for the H-D job?

filled out an app, but I ain't hold'n my breath. They have a "super ride" test ride event going on, and I think they are looking for people to help out in a temporary sense.

I saw the coolest thing on the news channel the other day. It was a tri-fold business card. The outside was just like a normal business card. When it was folded out it had your resume in it just smaller. It was normal business card size as well.

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

I'm alive...

I had an interesting experience today.

A 996 with a throttle stuck wide open is a unique experience.

One I do not wish to have again.
