If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Yeah-almost none of you slackers rode up to BP's wedding.
Pretty sure that particular slacker rode a bobber.

Red is fastest.  ;D
Red it is....

when is your trip to Kazakhstan?

August 13th. I don't know when I'll be done, either.

Wasn't it a month(ish) originally?

Evening.
Back from the track. It was 95 and sunny, and my leathers aren't perforated.  :'(
^Those aren't tears, they're beads of sweat  ;D
Cramped up some late in the day, so I shortened my last 2 sessions. Otherwise, had lots of fun and learned a few things too.
Respeta mi autoridad!

I don't think San Diego to Laguna would be a very pleasurable ride......

True dat.

San Diego to Los Angeles is crappy enough to keep you from finishing.

[raises hand]  I did!  [cheeky]

Went to see Angels & Demons tonight w/River before it left the big-screen.  Not a bad flick!  Tom Hanks was predictable as usual in that character, but eh...all in all... I give it 7 1/2 out of 10.  All I could think about when looking at Ewan McGregor's character was him saying,'John O'Groats' from Long Way Down.   [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

Final tally on my M900 thus far:
Pistons & Barrels installed w/fresh gaskets sealant & O-rings
Replaced the cylinder head studs with the upgraded ones from a later bike
Changed out the 15mm head nuts w/14mm ones from a later bike
Cleaned out the carbs
Re-routed some wiring that was buggin' me
Added correct breather hoses for the carbs
Installed the Dyna coils w/new wires
Installed an upgraded (2001 & newer) slave cylinder (old one leaked)
Adjusted the valves and replaced the valve stem seals w/new ones
Lapped the valves into the heads
Lapped the heads to the barrels
Cleaned up the combustion chambers & pistons
Corrected the aligned ring gaps
Checked to see if my crank end plug was walking out (not yet!)
Replaced the leaky oil pressure sender
Installed from the pistons to the air-box today

What's left:
Exhaust installation
Bleed clutch system
New chain & sprockets
New trans output shaft seal
Raise rear suspension a bit

--sigh--  The things we do for love I suppose....  [thumbsup]
