"Once you accept that a child on the autistic spectrum experiences the world in

 perspective

To realize the value of nine  months:
Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.
"Don't piss off old people The older we get, the less 'Life in Prison' is a deterrent."

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

OMG I'm sorry, but that's funny.   [laugh]

Nate: yeah, I've been scarce.  School's rough only because I have so much going on, but all A's so far.  :D  Stu keeps me up to speed on what's going on here.  Part of me wants to fold my arms and pout and say, "I'm too old for this shit," but the logical side of me knows this is necessary.  So off I go.  YOU???

The bald guy tryin' to feed the dog just (drunkenly) stepped on the dog's dish and flung dog food all over the floor...which my dog will never eat anyway.  Intersting...   :o

I guess everyone is just doing what they have to do, eh?  I take it you're making it okay for now...

I think biz will pick up for all of us eventually.  It's just a matter of waiting it out.

Oh yeah, both Short Bus Bacon Junkie and Duc-Stew are living with me now.  It's working out great--we have a lot of fun together.   ;D

And get your heads out of the gutter, it's not like that.    :o

Yes, these days my place is almost always interesting.   :)

Hang in there, Nate.  The hard times are here to help us truly appreciate the good times, which will surely come around again.  My friend Kusala, a Buddhist monk, reminds me every time I see him that if I just wait long enough, everything will change.  I'm starting to believe that...

I only have so much patience for waiting...

and no disrespect to your friend...but a person could die waiting.

Things are actually pretty good.

The other stuff I'm doing is fun and it's actually made me enjoy painting more when I get a chance to do some.
