Not bad.  Today, I'm bigger than the wiring harness on the latest project so I'm off to tackle that mo-fo.

Depends.  It's a little easier to re-work a stock harness on the bikes that will retain most of the stock components albeit in different locations so I mostly do that (today for instance).

I completely wired a 1985 Allazzura 650 last year in a custom frame using newer switch gear, and newer components in different locations and on that job, I wired from scratch using a lot of the same thought as a newer stock Ducati harness does so hopefully someone down the road isn't scratching their head too badly...

Pip:  Yes, I've seen your sig-line.  Depending on what's left that's stock and the condition or existence of a stock harness it might be easier to re-work the original...  PM me some pics and what you've got and I'll give you some advice.
