How's the deep south treating you?

Rather well, as always. How you feeling after your dinner last night?  ;)

Wouldn't fat air be easier to disappear into?

You should invest in some camping gas equipment [thumbsup]

Not allowed on the planes, but I was thinking (after getting here) maybe a small electric kettle and a travel mug (possibly one of those electric immersion heaters but they are a little scary).  Usually not a problem, in the US/Canada there is almost always some kind of in-room coffee maker or else coffee and hot water in the lobby; in Europe / Asia / Australia there is almost always an electric kettle for tea or instant coffee.  I wanted to check up on the hotels before I left but the local team (who made all the arrangements) didn't think it was important to send me hotel info even though I asked.

I work for a company that makes specialized laboratory research equipment and software, I'm a scientist and my job has me going out and training customers (other scientists) on how to use the instruments/software, showing new potential customers how it works and helping them decide if it will work on their experiments, and things like that.  Technically my territory is just the Pacific NW, Western Canada, and Northern California (and after I get back from leave will just be Northern California) but I am often asked to help out with other regions as well.
