BTB, he'll be okay.  I wish there was something I could write to reduce your worry.  It's part of being a parent.   :-\

I'm off to work.  Later folks.

Quote from: Bacon Junkie on May 20, 2010, 10:07:16 PMWhen I finally make it to the clinic about, 25 minutes has elapsed.  I'm starting to feel a little funny.  I walk in and the receptionist sees me and immediately calls the doctor and sends me into the back.  A nurse takes my vitals and then doc comes in pokes me a bit, takes the stinger out. He gives me a shot thingy and hands me a vial of prednyzone. He says they are steroids and they will fight the reaction. I gotta take them twice a day for the next week.

Once again, my dumb takes over, and instead of calling a friend to pick me up, I decide to ride home.  I figured it was less than two miles, what could go wrong?

Wow, glad you made it OK, I can't believe you rode home.

I once had a systemic reaction in the allergist's office (apparently allergy shots don't mix well with a bad case of poison oak).  After the epinephrine and prednisone, I was shaking so bad I couldn't even drink a cup of water, let alone drive myself home. :-\

I know he will be fine, maybe should be worried about the poor people he will be staying with ;D

Baby sister is having very invasive major surgery on her legs today. She could use some prayers if you wouldn't mind.

Refills for everyone!

Things are good.  I have a short class today and then off to a dermatologist for a spot on my nose.

I was upset about work late yesterday, but that is Red Cross chapter crap and not my teaching.
Work all day Saturday and then Sunday and Monday off.

Getting ready for Memorial Day weekend.  We are going wine tasting in Oregon's Columbia gorge.  [wine]

Did you get plates for the bike?

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
