It's called too much rain combined with snowmelt.

Did it get your actual driveway or just down by the road?

part of the driveway has 10" deep gorges and the entire width down by the street is gone, right now it's about 2-3 ft across, 2 ft deep with fast moving water

maybe i can build a bridge?
i'd go try to fill it in, but i don't have any rock or dirt to put in it

and of course mike left for NYC at 4:30 this morning  >:(

How's he going to get back in?

The town is responsible for the part by the road most likely...

tell them to send the crew. ;)

They'll probably put in a culvert.

The Architect

Back from L.I.  Family function, baby shower.  On the ride home I asked my wife "how was it?"  (I and the other husbands were spared the trauma of the coed showers.)

She replied "do you remember the scene from Goodfellas when Karen met the other wives and families?  The women wore way too much bad makeup, the kids behaved terribly, etc....."

"What do you mean?"

With a straight face she replied "it was like being at a 1991 street-walker convention/costume party."

"How was the food?"

School was delayed 2 hours this morning, (I don't know why.)  We didn't get that much rain.  Soon the cancel school on cloudy days.    :-\

Jumped out of bed at 0600. made coffee and tea. Started the dishes from last night, got the dogs food ready while he was out  walking.  Fed the dog, washed all of the dishes by 0630.  Mornings should not be this busy.

Sounds like a good day for TiNi!  Movies, napping, etc.
