Thanks, at the same time, I'm getting more requests to get me hands dirty on motorcycles ...

Now a guy with a Kawi Ninja 250 wants to make it go faster ...  If this picks up I might leave all of the other behind ...

I wont ...

As I post I'm looking at sites that offer 'performance' parts for Kawasaki Ninja 250 ... if I go down 3 teeth on the rear to 41, it has 14/45, I'll give it more top speed, right?

Plus the air filter and jet kit, he already installed an Akrapovic slip on ... $950.00  :o :o :o

You'll get more top speed at the expense of acceleration.

It's a 250...it will never be fast.

Thanks for the good wishes AJ ... as said, for this weekend I have 2 regular maintenance, 1 Ducati M620 and 1 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 ... That represents for me, $90.00 between both bikes ...

Well, they say 'we lamment that the burocracy made this misshap happen, but, we're looking forward to have the approval for your position available by no later than mid-year next year..." I ask, if I didn't have this other offer open, the bike maintenance doesn't bring enough to even pay mortage!!!

Told him that ... he wants TOP SPEED!!!!! this is his 3rd bike in one a half year ... he started riding on a FZ160 Fazer ... not a typo .. now he has the 250 ... Next, ???

I was drinking a beer, I almost choked when reading ... At least he's going up bike by bike, he just wants something more out of the 250 ... I'll do me best !

he can try to find a real Ninja 250, the Japan only (I think) ZX-2R, 250 inline 4 with about 40+ hp stock

No really, he's doing OK, I've played a bit with numbers and if I go down 3 teeth on rear sprocket, he'll loose punch at lower revs .. it might give him the extra 8mph he wants ... to make his the fastest one in Panama ...
