power came back on at 2:30
and i've been busy

emptied the entire contents of the fridge and freezer and tossed it all
scrubbed all the shelves with hot soapy water and reassembled
laundry
hot shower

i'm a happy camper :)
i do like sleeping in the living room in front of the fire though, maybe one more night of that  ;D
