Good to hear from you Barry--hope all is well with you and your family.  waytogo

That's great jacket BTW--I have one similar, and it's indeed the ticket for those hot days. Many in this group use that same jacket during the summer months.

Black would be a little toasty in the hot TX sun, vented or not. I just scored some Sidi boots from newenough thanks to the heads up by Rich several threads ago. Awesome service, they were here in the blink of an eye! Good close out price too. Making room for the new groovy Sidis I guess.

I have two Vanson Jackets. One is the Ventilator (mesh) and the other is the Stealth (perforated leather). In my experience, the mesh ones seem to be a bit loose. I guess it's because of the stretchy fabric. So, my Ventilator is a SMALL and the Stealth is a MED. I just ordered this Ventmax3 with the regular stripes in a small. I did try them on at Motoliberty a couple of years ago and I think the small is what fit me best. I wear a 40 regular in most cases.

Family is doing well. I've been so busy with fixing things in the new house and maintaining the old house, then dealing with the kids and looking for a new job as a flight dispatcher....it's slowly driving me crazy. I sold both of my bikes last year around August and then just bought a 2004 Honda 599 (Japanese Monster  Grin ) a month ago from a friend of mine. I have barely found any time to ride. It's only a five mile ride to and from work. Kind of boring, but it's better than nothing. [moto]

Yup, Newenough is really good with customer service. Most items usually arrive the next day if you order it before noon. It's a gear junkie wife's nightmare. Evil

They SERIOUSLY need another model...  This does highlight for me, however, that this jacket will not look good on fat bastards such as myself, no matter how religiously I take my anti-fat-bastard pills...

Well, got my jacket today. It's either too tight, or I really gained that much weight. Anyways, It's going back on Monday unless someone here wants it. Same price I paid for it with shipping and tax. It came out to something like $148.++

If anyone is intersted let me know. It's a size small with racing stripes. I'm 5'8" tall and weigh 157lbs. It's just a little bit too small for me.  Smiley
