The DP ECU was installed at the same time as the Boomtubes, so the mechanic just set it and there hasnt been any issues thus far.

I will get a ride by clip soon!!!!

Thanks for the pics/videos of the BoomTubes on your bike -- looks good!  It's hard comparing these systems to the "regular exhaust systems" out there as they are very different in design (and what they do for the SSS look), weight reduction and outlet position.  Most people are used to the exhaust coming out of the rear of the bike way way behind them -vs- coming out behind your right foot.  Going through tunnels or riding along walls you get some interesting exhaust reverb that takes awhile to get used to.  Glad to see you like them!

Also glad to see that Bernard at Vizitec is shipping his rear brakelight systems again!  It really is an impressive light. (most people I think missed this when looking at your list of modifications)

And the Rizoma parts -- good quality items as well!

Hopefully the snow melts off soon and you get a great season of riding in.  Given your recent return from deployment overseas, you definitely need to go have some fun carving the great roads available in Colorado.  Enjoy!

Damn dude, just felt I'd pipe in and say your bike is gorgeous.  My anticipation for the arrival of my pipes to go on my 800 just doubled, easy.  Nice job to all involved in the build.   bow down

Thanks to Mark Savory at Motocreations for putting up with my constant hassling.  Literally guys I have had at least 50 people in the last 48 hours compliment me on the boomtubes.  I was at a biker bar today parked next to about 20 Harley Davidson's, and a bunch of guys approached me as I was getting off my bike.  I almost reached for my knife when I realized they were all smiling and talking about how it was the best sounding Ducati they had ever heard.  Then they wanted to talk to me and listen to me gun the throttle.  It was a huge compliment and I was trying to not get a big head.

The boomtubes have such a unique sound, it is hard to explain without actually hearing it.  I will try to get a WOT passing video on here as soon as I can.

So, does your right foot get hot being that close to the exhaust outlets?
and do you notice much of a weight difference? 

I know that you have only had the boomtubes on the bike for a day or two, but compared to the traditional exhaust, how hard was it to get used to the tubes coming out of the side?

Are we talking about the brake light flasher unit OR the whole light assembly?

As far as the Rear light, it is the whole entire assembly (LEDS + flasher)!  It is super noticeable and one of the sweetest parts on the bike.

My foot never gets hot, and I am pretty sure I have the MEDIUM version of the boomtubes, as I had Mark install some baffles before he shipped to me.

The weight difference is astounding.  The ugly charcoal canister is gone from the right front of the bike, and the mufflers+udder+pipes weight at least 25lbs more than the boomtubes.  I find that sharper turns are a bit easier to take.

Jealous as hell.  Sounds great.  My boomtubes should be here next week.  I went with a different tip and the most baffling because Nakid's boomtubes were crazy loud.  These sound very manageable.  I hope to film stock cored cans without the udder and the boomtubes for a little before and after comparison.  Hopefully I can con my friend with a pro camera to tape a couple of drive-bys.
