i know on several of the boards i frequent, when you post a pic that is bigger than the regular size, it will make the post wider than most.  but on others, it will reduce the size of the pic to a "regular" size, with a bar at the top so you can click and it makes the pic full size again, so it doesnt mess with the size of the post.

the way it is now, to see a picture that is too big, you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the pic, move the slider, then go back up to the picture you wanted to see. is there a way we can get the board to do it like the second way i mentioned other fourms doing it with reducing the pic size?

it does reduce the pic size, to 800x600.  You might be looking at old posts that were posted before that constraint went in.  Can you post the thread in question?

the pic of the red monster towards the bottom.

when did the new constraints get put into effect?

this weekend, but it isn't retroactive.  In other words, after that was last posted/modified.

going forward, any new pics should be properly resized.  If any old posts are meodified by a mod or original poster, it should also fix it.

well then... i have no problems or complaints anymore.   [thumbsup]

its no fun when everything gets fixed so quickly.

Autosizing one picture works ok, but if you post 2 pics side by side depending on your screen size you still have the scroll issue. The ability to resize a linked image when you post still might be a handy thing.
