I'll let the pics tell most of the story.   Grin

Hmm, leathers, that never bodes well.

In front of the "Broken down Duc"??  Hey that thing looks sorta complete....

 Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

Yup, the Duc and I are both working again.   waytogo
SomeGirl and I went for a quick little ride from Pescadero, down to 1, up to 84, and back to Pescardero (man, living in the twisties has it's good points  laughingdp).  Just long enough to be amazing therapy for my constant stir craziness (and for me to hound the guy on the Bandit  Evil, I'll learn, someday).
Thank you SomeGirl!

The 620 feels just amazing, huge thanks to Darkstar and MrIncredible for finishing putting it back together for me while I was down. Darkstar, I still owe you a reaaallllyyy nice dinner.  Duck-stew, you really did a nice job on the heads, bike is back to being it's rev-happy, none-blue smoke blowing self!

Overall, a huge thank you to everyone on the board who've helped me out during this spell.  From waiting with me for the helicopter (even if there were threats to pee on me :-p), to the hospital visits, from gifts of crutches, to caretaking and places to stay and everything else I've forgotten because of all the pain killers.   laughingdp

Once again, the DMF has proven to be one of the most amazing online groups I've ever had contact with, thank you all!

Still working on the "Cane to bike" issue.  Figured that since this was just a quick loop, i.e. I never got off the bike, the cane got left in the garage where I could reach it while parking.   laughingdp

Thinking about ordering a folding cane for whenever the rain stops and I start commuting.   waytogo  popcorn

Jeez man, "House" has it figured out, why not you?

Oh, and you definitely need a handicapped sticker for the Ducati. I'd pay to see onlookers faces for that!

Glad you're feeling better!

I love that show.   Grin

Been looking for a good picture of how he does the cane attachment thing, no dice so far.  Figure it'll just be easier to get a folding cane.   cheeky

And if I could get a handicap sticker for the bike, I'd be all over it!  "Unfortunately", I'm only handicaped till May in the eyes of the state, so no sticker for me.  Unless someone knows a way.   Wink
