Best movie Car Chase...

My vote:  Bullitt

There are so many, that it's hard to pick my single favorite.  Some contenders:

- Bullitt (McQueen...)
- Blues Brothers "through the mall" (mentioned before, but it's really a fun one)
- Ronin - A modern classic
- Bourne Ultimatum (?) -- There are a few Bourne chases, but my fave is the scene in Moscow where JB is in an old (Lada?) cab and chased by the Russian in a G-wagen
- The Road Warrior (entire movie is one big chase scene  )
- I just rented The Dark Knight - The semi/armored car scene is great.
- There are some good James Bond car scenes.  Bond chases may not have as much pure action as others, but the cars and characters are very memorable.  (The Lotus car/sub, the Aston DB5, the BMW 740 that's controlled by a cell phone  )

Not really a car chase but the scene from the first Tomb Raider movie with Angelina Jolie on the monster dark.  It was the first time I had ever seen a monster and it made me fall in love with them. 




















































Besides Jolie is hot as hell (IMO) so that helped too.
