CF Windscreen

Just got this thing today.

The Good:
The CF is high quality, matches the DP stuff I already have and is heavily clear coated.

The Bad:
They did not take enough care when spraying the clear and there are small imperfections visible.
The shape of it is more curved than the stock piece, which leaves very small gaps at the sides and very tip of the nose.
The holes for the well nuts were too small and had to be drilled out.

Time will tell if with a little heat from the sun it will relax and mold itself to the fairing more.

Thanks! I'm diggin it.... I stumbled across it on ebay. Now I abhor ebay with every fiber (not CF yet ) of my being so I had to get creative in order to get in touch with the seller. I was holding back on providing his info until I received the part, found it worthy (IMHO) and received his OK to post his email contact info. so far I have not had a response from him on the latter...

It was 85.00 shipped btw.

That's awesome!!  I've been thinking of doing this ever since I saw one on my buddy's GSXR.  It's not like that windscreen is functional anyhow (on Monsters)

BTW, a little medium rubbing compound should clean up imperfections in the clear.  At least it had a clear coat.  If it were a DP part, it may not!!
