My wife and I were pulled over by a Sheriff Deputy this past Saturday while doing about 70 in a 45. Turns out it was a guy we know and who also rides. He pulled us over just to let us know that our favorite, local riding area was going to be swamped with police over the weekend because of complaints.....We also have had a city cop text us to let us know where the Sheriff Deputies and Highway Patrol are when he hears about it on the scanner.......We are also usually riding with the mayor's son of a local town, so hopefully we have some friends in the right places to help us avoid tickets.  ;D

Someone's telling me that it's not safe for cops to pull over bikes on the highway...??

Cops up here won't pull over a bike unless they are infront of it and on foot to wave the guy in usually.  They don't want to risk a chase most of the time.  Been riding here in the Toronoto area for 4 years never been pulled over.  Spend a lot of time on the highways usually 40Km (25 mph) over the limit maybe 10Km (6 mph) faster than half the cars, only once ever got the slow it down sign for a radar gun toting cop, gave him a wave and dropped down to 10Km over the limit, kept motoring no pursuit.

I have to admit even on a ride from Toronto to Nashville never once got pulled over, only time a cop even talked to me the whole time was to ask which version of Monster I had (620 dark at the time).  Maybe I'm just lucky, or they don't care up here not sure which.

[drink] after the ride!
Ducati ..... Ducati ..... Ducati ..... It just makes me smile!

Harley drivers in short/t-shirts/and salad bowls .... make me laugh.

I was pulled over on the Mass Pike. My tail light was out. He said he didn't want be to be rear ended. Thinking about it now I should have said "Thanks I'll keep it above 100 mph."
