I am glad to have that extra hour of daylight........but make the beast with two backs.

I am all whacked out today. Sure as hell feels a lot later than 9:04p

I've jumped forward an hour 3 times today all told (daylight savings, flight from SF to Denver, flight from Denver to Winnipeg).   Sometimes it's good not to have too much of a body clock.

It should feel earlier.

I hate daylight saving time. I grew up in Indiana and we never had it when I was a kid. Now, every time I have to change the clock, I'm all out of whack for a month or more.

Grampa

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

I grew up in Indiana, too.

First time living out of the state was when I was 24.

that first time change was such a shock to me; still is.

daylight savings all my life, and it still takes a month for me to adjust.

You're normal.

I'd prefer to live without daylight savings, but hey! I'm just a sheep in this great USA.
Frickin' snow!

hbliam

Takes me about two to three days to adjust. I love this end of the change. You can surf until almost 9 PM as we get into June.

DoubleEagle

It was tough last night when I looked at my watch and it said 3:30 and my computer said 4:30. I finally got to bed about 5:15.

I'm sort of out of kilter today , but I love the fact that it gets dark later and later ( almost 10:00 pm June 21st ).

I love Daylight Savings! More sun in the evening.  ;D ;D I think we should just keep it year round.  [thumbsup]

I'm surprised it affects people so much...it's only an hour.  ??? Takes me a day to get used to it...no biggie.

desmopr

I hate it with a passion.  Grew up in PR, no DST shit there.  It takes me at least 3 weeks to adjust.

The extra sun comes from the latitude. Only difference is you're more tired when it's setting now.

Everyone could have just agreed to change their schedules around the clock and do everything an hour earlier, but nooo they have to lie to themselves about it!

The sun still transits the meridian at solar noon, but now it's at 13:06. :P
