I haven't been on the track in over 2 years, so there's no way I'm running A, plus I need to shake down the SV some.

So, the short answer is - I'm running B.

I'm tempted. Y'all are so fast now, I hate playing sweeper.

oh, and I'm truckless (at the moment, may change). Any thoughts on transport?

All I remembered was to look for the orange bike and leathers. Looking at the pics I don't know how I missed you.

I thought my S2R was cool until I saw PHI's. That is one tricked out 800! I say that even having watched his bike on the track from the rear several times, if you know what I'm saying.

And I was parked next to and chatting up the guy who binned the 1098. Super nice guy, but it was his second track day ever. Seemed kind of weird to be taking that bike to your second track day, and at the Streets too.

I called it after the 2 pm session. Even drinking like a fish, I was getting a headache from the heat. The previous week I rode up to Yosemite and was choking on the smnoke. I've had enough heat in the helmet.

Having said that, I'm heading out to the big track at Willow on Aug 23. Fast Track Riders, $165 if you're interested. But you have to safety wire the drain plug and filter thanks to some tool who oiled down half of Cal Speedway.

This Saturday was definitely a great day for me though. Man, I had a blast!

water isn't gonna cut it. you need to replenish electrolytes.

i hear pedialyte is a good thing to have onhand. good for long rides, too.

it's not such a bad idea, anyway. it can be a pita to drill the drain plug, but it's good for a piece of mind.

if you don't have a torque wrench, it might also keep you from subconsciously over-torquing the drain bolt "just in case".
