There are more than 700 species of Eucalyptus, mostly native to Australia, and a very small number are found in adjacent parts of New Guinea and Indonesia and one as far north as the Philippines islands. Only 15 species occur outside Australia, and only 9 do not occur in Australia. Species of Eucalyptus are cultivated throughout the tropics and subtropics including the Americas, England, Africa, the Mediterranean Basin, the Middle East, China and the Indian Subcontinent.

So, yeah, pretty much, Lower Arizona... or the US... don't have forests like that! 

They're cool trees, notwithstanding the requirement of some to have bushfires to spread.

Good work Shirlock       Photo is taken just down the road from my home, south east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. 

Living in Arizona leaves most days looking like that (well...a little less green and a little more brown) - but sadly, working keeps us from getting to enjoy those days very much.

In a few months it'll be brown as buggery here too...so yeah its not the weather, its the working that prevents too many days from looking like that....
