Huh.  Never heard of that reference.

See what I mean, numbers can have a lot of meanings to a lot of people.

It's rather old school.  It think it has long been replaced by "420".

snore.   [coffee]   back to pictures.

This is a fellow monster-isti in Germany, Andreas of hey-tec Motorradtechnik.  I got his very last "Bremsmomentabstützung Corsa" recently (for a small fortune) - a floating/braced ultra-small caliper rear brake setup, using the same wee-bitty caliper as on the Supermono (not the billet Brembo Race caliper, the normal little one).

(the part: )

Here's his M900 with an 888 tank to help hold him in position while on the track - coming from the days before the CA-Cycleworks MTT-43's came out (and with this stimulus to get the thread back on track, I am giving away the top secret plan for my bike: I have been hunting, unsuccesfully, for an 888 tank to do this to my M900 after seeing this)

Yea. That looks good.
I'm going to beat you to it now.
I would assume there's a fair amount of modification to be done to said 888 tank. Esp. for an FI bike.

If you are going to try to beat me to it, i may withhold all my good know-how on how to make it work. Ok Ok Ok. It hinges in the same spot, will prevent some access to the ignition area so that needs changed, and you may need to do some seat modifying to make it look tidy.

Tell you what, if you find one, let me rent it for a few days/week so i can get it copied by ETI and have a lightweight version with normal carb-outflow spigot and tank low-level indicator hole.

Love the way that thing looks with the Rodan box
Comes a time

Says don't you see
Gotta' make it somehow

Damn! Do we all have the same idea with the 888 tank?! HAHA.

I just don't think I would have an easy time at all putting it on my S4RS.

Here's my contribution. I didn't see the other owners, but I did make sure to snap a pic of the impromptu Monster Mash.:
