Thanks!
-I shortened the cans about 6 inches +/- after the tail chop they hung out SOOO far and they were realy getting in the way of my 12 o'clock wheelies (haha yeah right)
- The Bar is a Pro Taper Evo (Carmichael) - I love the feel of it (not to mention the look) .. It's an oversize bar so had to have a few parts machined
That tab off - and then a hunk of aluminum to raise it about 3/4 of an inch!

Nice job on the shorty cans! Looks like the higher bars will give it a real hooligan stance on the road.

Yeah i like the stance a lot more with the new bas - a little more street and little less touring .. fits the look I was going for better .. next thing is to clean up the gauges .. any ideas out there? Id like just one mono pod with speedo and maybe an idot light for high beams and blinks .. any ideas?

Just traded my 696 for an 1100 last week. I'm loving the extra power. Unfortunately I had a minor incident today which resulted in the bike on its side in a pile of dirt. My first legit crash in 10 years of riding. I'm still fine. And the bike just needs some bits here and there replaced. I'll take it. Smiley

It especially hurts when there aren't even plates on it yet.

It has been a while since I have posted some pics of the bike. Here they are.

The 10/1198 tail light mod is awesome! How did you do it, any details, DIY?

after enjoining the 696 for almost a year I decided for an upgrade and find myself a happier man ever since. The 1100 is sweet  Vino!

There is a one legged man in the background waiting to steal your bike.
