LYD: very nice looking bike!

Stew - Man that bobber would make me nervous to ride... why?  I'd be looking down at the top of that vertical cylinder head and the proximity to my umm.. anatomy...  :)

Yeah...  It was frickin' awesome to be so close to the raw energy producing mass of aluminum...  The bike has never been for the timid though...

There are some beautiful bikes here! [thumbsup]

Here's my 2000 M966Sie. Motor is by MBP Ducati and puts out +95RwHP, 70lb/ft torque. Ohlins rear, Showa/Ohlins front. BSTs and some brake mods. Lots of other stuff. This project is finally done.

That's part of the beauty of the 696.  No hack saw required.  The tail unbolts.
