Maybe you could improve even further.....
gold stripes on the front wheel as well?
gold bar ends?
gold reservoir caps?
gold lower head light trim?
I don't think there's a gold stripe on the rear - it's the light reflecting on it. But yeah - gold strips on the wheels

Man, all of these bikes...
Here's my new to me 1999 M900, ~23,000 miles
Previous owner did some cosmetic stuff. Exhaust was custom made. She sounds amazing and handles like a dream.

Tack och hoppas att du hade en fin nationaldag igår!
As Dave said there are no gold stripe on the rear wheel but maybe if I decide to stay with the 3-spoke wheels. I got new rims in the garage (Monster S4) that will be painted either gold or "titanium grey" (same as the rearsets).
I may black out the bike some more (headlight rim etc.) but I don´t think I´ll add more gold as it´s too hard to match aftermarket accessories to the color on the tank/tail.

Went on a beautiful ride a couple of days ago. I always enjoy looking at pictures of everyone else´s bikes so I decided to finally share some of mine. More to come when I get around to spend some time in the garage...
Best regard / Mike / Sweden
Nice ride ...
As for wheels, everyone of us has different taste, if it were me, I'd paint the new set "titanium grey" , gold will, IMHO, 'HEY I'M HERE, LOOK AT ME!!!! ...

I have always thought Ducati should offer at least one bike in their product line... option YELLOW.

I was supposed to go for a ride today. Instead, I wound up giving the bike a quick wash and wax instead. Then I took a few shots and played with the HDR software.

Which is already tastefully achieved by riding a Duc in the first place!

Are those wheels a direct swap? Your bike looks good, I love that set of monster art skins.

2001 M900ie, the standard low-budget Cafe Monster. Ohlins rear shock, Ohlins steering damper, S2R adjustable front forks, Motowheels clip-ons, Rizoma rearsets. Pipes are a mystery, bike came with them, opened airbox and a PC-3.
