Used '07 Monster S2R1000

As the title says,  I found a used S2R1000 for about $6400 with 5100 miles on the odometer.   Anyone think this is fair price price?  Just curious.  Also,  what things should I be looking out for in used bike getting close to valve inspection service time?

Excellent price if everything is legitimate.  (clean title, not stolen, etc...) 

Not much to look for.  Only would have had 2 oil changes by this time if it were mine, maybe 3 b/c of the age.  Listen for any unusual noises.  Check out the tank for severe warp.  But if you are looking for a monster with a plastic tank that is something you will just have to deal with anyway.

what year? duh! read the title herm...
as you mentioned, it is going to need the 6k service done soon. not a really big deal as long as you a)have a competent dealer in the area, or b) have the capability to tackle it youself

along with that, if the bike is an older model s2r1k, its going to need new belts as well. again....not a huge deal, but depending on your local shops, could be looking at several hundred in maintenance in the near future.

finally, what is the condition of the tires? are you looking at a new set in the near future?

IMO, even if all of the above needs to be done, the price sounds good (assuming no damage, etc...)
