Front end has to come off . . .
Need to support it from the motor with jack stands . . .
Yes Neikos, if you remove the engine mount bolt (frame slider location) and drive a nice sturdy long steel bar all the way thru, the bar can then rest on jack stands on either side of your Lili.
It works real slick. I've done it that way before
I have stands and stuff if you need anything.

Why? Do you have a weekly limit?

Why yes.. and one most not go over the alloted mileage. No actually my bike just beats me to death on long rides. Shoulders are still burning from yesterday's ride. But with enough Tylenol Extra Strength coursing through my blood I'm good for a few more of the 'alloted' miles.

Hey Sabrina - The upright posture on the monsters shouldn't do that. I'll bet you are giving your 2R the ol' wrestlemania death grip.
The trick is, I think, to relax and zen your way along. I believe I had the same aches and pains when I first started riding mine. I'm betting those aches and pains'll go away eventually once you get familiarized with your machine.
Today was such a great day I'm optimistic about everything

I know, to think I got a Monster to get AWAY from the CBR fetal position riding style.
Wasn't as bad today while riding.. I also think the additional winter gear I've been wearing creates so much resistance, that it adds to the typical wear and tear of just riding the bike.

Watch out for the leo's. They were doing their jobs very well in that part of Oregon on Saturday.

They must have had today off.
I had a great ride, out Scapoose-Vernonia Rd to Apiary Rd to Mienster Rd to Hwy 30. No
, but I almost hit a coyote!

There is a group from the North that is making a trip to Pacific City.
Here is their plan:
8:30 AM : meet up at Triumph of Tacoma, aka Lakewood Motosports. Vena has
kindly volunteered to come early and open up for us. Directions to Triumph of
Tacoma, 12007 Pacific Highway SW, Lakewood, Wa 98499 from South bound I-5:
Take the Bridgeport Exit - Exit 125 (It is the next exit heading south afer the
512 Puyallup exit) head west and turn left at the first light (Pacific Highway
SW). T of T is the second building on the left.
9:00 AM: depart Triumph of Tacoma. Slab down I-5 to Kelso/Longview, where we
will gas up before entering the Nanny State.
11:00 AM: brunch at Humps Restaurant in Clatskanie, OR.
Noon: depart Humps via Hwy. 47.
Those who do not want to slab I-5 to Longview are free to take their own route
to Clatskanie and meet us at Humps for brunch. Humps is in "downtown"
Clatskanie on the north side of US 30. You can't miss it.
Cap'n Parrotdead, Ducati Don, and any PDX riders: you can meet up with us at
Humps for brunch.
Bill Anderson & Mao Tse Duc (04-ST4s, red) Edmonds, WA.
They are staying at the motel across the street from me, but if any of you want to join in on the ride, I have rooms open here this weekend.
