I bought a Laser thermometer on ebay. the guy said it worked, but it doesnt, so he refunded the money and said to keep it. I oepend her up, turns out a battery exploded.

can it be cleaned and fixed? or is it gone? i have a soldering iron heating up right now and im gonna re solder some of the joints that got broken when i tried to remove the chunks of acid.

should be fixable. can you post a pic?   do you know what type of battery it is?  If you cant fix it I'll take it ;D

Dont worry i wont botch it. soldering iron wont heat up. i forgot this thing is broken. lol gotta go to radioshack now. evil store!

it looks pretty bad to me. but what the hell do i know?  [laugh] (im waiting on some LEDs and im going to redo my gauges when i get them)
