How much of an improvement are the new forks??

Are all of the machined parts custom made by you??

You should put together a parts kit for us who want to upgrade!

The new fork gives you more feedback and smoothness. Even in the cobblestone you have a very clean line instead the bike/fork bumping and get out of control  Grin

Are all of the machined parts custom made by you??
No, only the design  Grin
And the spacers for the wheel/discs where sent free from a Spanish DUCATISTI  chug

You should put together a parts kit for us who want to upgrade!

But, the mesurements are in the "HOW TO": http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=36913.0

definitely, how much would a set up like that cost?

2 spacers for wheel/disc: 20€/set*
2 shims for lower triple clamp: 5€/set
1 washer for front axle: 25€

So, maybe the kit could cost around 50€ (65$).

* estimated costs

Do you think any machine shop could make these items given the measurements?

Are the holes in the spacers merely for looks/save weight or do they serve a purpose?

Yes, I think so.

The holes are for the rotors screws. They fit between the wheel and the rotors

and then the forks right?

Are 1098 forks the only ones that will work on the 696?
