make sure your throttle cable is the proper length and tension, and  that it's not pulling on the new cam under '0' throttle

I removed the throttle cable from the cam entirely and tried resetting the tps with different variations of the key on/off the other day and it didnt seem to change anything which tells me that I need to do something else. I'll call the dealer today to see what they say.

I have picked up so many ideas/tips from this thread in the last month - thank you!!

My 696 as it currently sits. Has an evotech tail kit, termignoni's, emissions canister gone, NA light spacer removed. My sliders are waiting in calgary. To do list is levers, rear sets, and mirrors for sure but I'm out of money until the winter now haha! I'd also like to get a second set of plastics eventually as well. Maybe the black/gold. Also planning to powder coat those metal exhaust cover pieces black over winter as well.

I do a lot of rain riding, and the amount of water that ends up on the seat is getting frustrating, so I'm trying to come up with some ideas for what I could pop onto the bottom of the plate in the rain to stop that issue - like a piece of plastic extending straight out a short distance. Or I'll just live with it, it's worth it!

Been leaving the reflectors for now because cops are sticky about them here, I don't really have the spare cash to pay the fine if I get caught. Checking out mirrors, but all my free cash is going into mini roadracing at the moment haha - and the DUC Western Canada trip next week.

Took an 1100 evo out for a demo today. Loooooooove!

read your local laws. if it's just a reflective piece of material a certain size and not specific about colors or shape, there are lots of options.

aveldina

They are specific about color and location in this province, but not shape (thus the red tape). I can probably take the yellow fork reflectors off and use tape instead. It looked like they were attached pretty solid though - how have you guys gotten them off?

Also, I bought some knock-off levers on eBay and will have a review for them up soon. Short review: well worth the $59.99 that I spent.

Also, a side note worth mentioning, I've only had my Leo Vince LV-One's for about 3 months now and they're already yellowing pretty badly. I've gone through the channels to get Leo Vince's attention, but they seem to be dragging their feet on a replacement. I've NEVER used any sort of solvents and only wash them with water (let's face it, they don't get that dirty). Anyone else have this issue with the LV's? I'm pretty disappointed that A) they've yellowed so much and B) that Leo Vince is dragging their feet (already outright denied once already) with the replacement of these things. I didn't spend $700+ on them to have their quality degrade so much in three months....

Grr!

So I bought these bad boys from Dragon Racing Pro Shop or hkdrpro on eBay and they're WAY better than I expected. With a little tightening, they don't wiggle at all. The metal is high quality, construction just feels first class. I can't tell the difference between these and my buddy's PAZZO's. Seriously. They Pazzo's might be a bit lighter, but the quality feels very similar. Best part, they're only $59.99 + $5 shipping. I'm SUPER impressed with them. If you have any questions, let me know. I'm a happy customer.
