No fairing.  Definitely no fairing.

Only liquid cooled monsters are allowed to have fairings and even then, it's not really ok.   ;D
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

This map is upside down, the plan is written in crayon, and the weather forecast is from 2011.

Gimpy

Yep, fairings are silly looking.

When all the land lays in ruin... And burnination has forsaken the countryside... Only one guy will remain... My money's on...

What "looks better" is without. You may have a purely practical reason (like commuting on the highway) for having it in which case; keep it who cares what other people think. If it doesn't matter, ditch it! The posts here confirm it is empirically better looking without.

less is more... i.e. mo naked is mo betta.

you should also get rid of that mirror stump... you'll poke your eye out. 8)

It's a joy stick, silly [moto]

I will stand up and defend the fairing - I am that brave 8)
By itself it's a nice design. In pictures Monsters look great without, but with a normal sized rider..... not so sure.
For me, at 6'4", I need the extra visual bike size. The unfaired chopped Monsters look so tiny under me otherwise.

I realize I haven't made a convincing argument, so do whatever pleases you [moto]

Who insures the FDIC?

I think you should stick one of those orange fiberglass kid flags in that mirror stump.  That'd be awesome!!
Catching a yellow-jacket in your shirt at seventy miles per hour can double your vocabulary.

Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.

Alexandre

no fairing on that bike. but do what makes you happy.  [thumbsup]

sbrguy

keep the faring on it.

faring looks good, looks like its missing someting without it on.
