Anyone have any advice on installing the exhaust gaskets. I have found them a pain to install and always seem to mess it up and they leak after a short while. The ones I am talking about are made out of a fibre product and the cross section looks something like "<" that. I think I installed them with the open side towards the head and the pointed side towards the exhaust. Also do you use any type of compound on these gaskets for a better seal or between the press pit joints. I have a full Zard system on a s2r800.

Thanks

I used ultra copper last time so I know it won't work [bang]
Installing these pipes is always an experience.

What happened to the old flat crush ones? They always work.

Nothing wrong with the crush washers, these are the ones that go between the short pipe from the exhaust port and the exhaust pipes

So i installed my Zards today.
This stuff worked PERFECT. It's incredible, and easy to work with.
It smoked for a few seconds when i fired the bike up, but afterwards, everything is set perfectly.
Zero leaks. Thanks for the rec.
