Sorry doesn't cut it....

we will not be enjoying chaos 321s company any longer.

Many will scream censorship...

that's fine...scream away.

His only crime was being unable to engage in discussion without resorting to name calling.

Figure out how to disagree without doing that and have at it kids.

I had to go squid yesterday in order to get the bike back.  Had a tire put on and it was suppose to be ready Friday and they give me a call Saturday to say it is ready an hour before  they close and since I was about 40 minutes away I just went in what I was wearing, shorts polo and gym shoes.  Had some shades to protect my face.  Anyways it was uneventful and what not.

Ironically the guy calling every one else a vag, is being the biggest vag.  You don't like how people feel about your behaviors?  make the beast with two backs off and go some where else.

Personally I'll ride the shit out of the bike on empty roads but as soon as cars are around its time to take it easy.

The squid rides the shit  out of it around people putting them in danger with bad passes and dumb tricks to where if they fall instead of just being a smear they become someone's hood ornament; and I, for one, am not a fan of unsolicited decorations to my vehicle.

... I'm totally cool with my friends saying "You remember when William bit it?!  That was awesome!  How do you explode in a fireball while being crushed under a waterfall?!  I don't think I'll beat that..."

That's what kills me, why bother with the helmet at that point?  ???

It's a law that you have to wear a helmet in most states.

You can't legislate good sense.

Oh yeah, I'm in a state where it's not mandatory.  To each their own I suppose, Darwinism I guess?

Stop, your using all those big words you are starting to confuse me.

It doesn't take education. All it takes is intelligence. It's not my fault you were incapable of following my post.

QuoteStop complaining about how someone else rides their ride.

I'm not. I'm complaining about how you make your points.

QuoteWhy is that so difficult to grasp?

That's what we're all wondering.

Look, there's simply no way anything you say can affect my day today. Bring it.

Edit: I suppose I should have read all the intervening posts first... Looks as if I'm barking at the shadows. I strongly suspect he's over on DML crowing about getting himself banned.

That was my first thought as well when I read T's post.  But then I realized that it doesn't even appear that the guy on the left has a license plate.

Maybe he's just wearing the helmet to hide his face from the cops in case he decides to run from them.   [roll]

If only I were quicker on the draw...  I was gassing up yesterday and saw 2 guys, one on an R1, one on a GSXR-#, both in shorts, t-shirts, running shoes, sunglasses, and giant camouflage backpacks.  I just couldn't get the dang cell phone to camera mode before they pulled away from the light.

Just another word to throw out when you want to make yourself feel better about yourself.

+ 1 on this wbeck257.  The minute I use (or hear someone else use) the term "squid' to describe another I smell elitism.  I'm not even thinking about condoning chaos' delivery but I can see a bit of the reasoning behind his overly-aggressive defense .

IMHO, anyone on this or on any other board who has ever posted about riding over his head in the crash thread, or talking about a brisk ride in the canyons or popping a wheelie during a 1-2 gear shift could justifiably be labelled a squid by someone else who (a) doesn't ride that way or (b) thinks he can somehow do the same thing in a "more responsible" manner.

Hmmm...I had to look that one up.

I guess all that gear and responsible riding didn't work for them though.  Apparently they are extinct .   [laugh]

edit:   The only surviving evidence of placoderms is in fossil remains.  So I  usually wear my gear.  Would that make me an old fossil ??    :P

Blow me!

That was about the level of intelligence I expected from a troll like yourself, go back under the bridge.

It appears I too jumped the gun since he was bounced and I am thankful for that, clearly he had not idea of the difference between spirited discussion and being a jerk.

Ok, back on topic, was coming back from a great ride today on the new scooter, heading south on I-95 cruising a nice sedate 80 keeping with the flow of traffic and a guy on a Yamaha, don't know what kind it went by to fast, riding 2 up with his girl on the back, both of them in shorts and t-shirts and no helmet. They were easily going over a 100 weaving through traffic. Now that is a bona fide SQUID.
All my best ideas get me into trouble.

I am reminded of the immortal words of Socrates when he said, 'I drank what?!'

Some people are like Slinkies ... Not really good for anything..... But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Hi,,,,my name is John,,, & I am a squid.

Woooow,,,,,,,I just spent 45 mins reading this post.
I ride with shorts, T shirt & sandals. Pull power wheelies down the main street. Then checking in my mirrors & over my shoulder to see if I have attracted the attention of the wrong guys  [leo] [leo],  & I have been known to pass the occasional car or motorcycle on the inside or outside while entering a corner.
Most of the time the danger I present is on myself.

Yep,,,,I am a squid,, & proud of it  ;D I didnt buy a S4RS to drive 60 mph & enjoy the scenery.
Long live the squid (ME)

Whats wrong with CHROME???

Nothing, as long as it's your entire tank and cowl.  Now putting steel treadplate applique on your swingarm is a bit much.

+1  Oh, and what's a spell check?  Who needs one?  This entire sentence would make it through a spell check, but as you can see it doesn't have very many words spelled correctly:
