Could some please clarify the difference other than price and look between the two?  I can not find anything that states the Carbon one's are better for performance.  Are they?????

There's not going to be noticeable performance difference one way or another.  Normally, carbon is lighter, but again, the difference probably isn't really huge.    It's mostly a looks and sound thing.  As a general rule, I really, really like the sound of carbon pipes.  IMO, you get more bass and more rumble.  Metal pipes give a slightly more tinny sound and are sometimes raspier.  But it's all a matter of taste.  The next guy will tell you now much he likes his stainless cans.
Occasionally AFM #702  My stuff:  The M1000SS, a mashed r6, Vino 125, the Blonde, some rugrats, yuppie cage, child molester van, bourbon.

I'm the next guy, but I too love the carbon sound - has to be something about the carbon being a more "dead" accoustic wall.

252,000 km/seventeen years - loving it

Thank you both for your replies.  That makes sense now.  I am sure I am going to like the sound of the carbons. Hmmm?? I guess you always pay more for styling.

Mebbe. But CF is and pretty much always has been at a premium. Now with China in the mix it has gone thru the roof.... Alas, there is really nothing a true addict can do about it, but BUY IT!!  ;D
