Well I'm happy to see that the DMF is moving right along.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to be disappointed when TOB got nuked.

My biggest problem with the whole thing (other than the communist attitude from VS) was the the loss of all the information that was available. Granted I'm not a n00b and I know my way around my bike now, but it was just such a waste of a lot of good people's time and effort and without it I would have been lost.

Although we haven't bee here that long, I'm glad to see many of the old topics starting to reappear here on the DMF. I know when I purchased my first Monster the DML was an invaluable resource for me as I started learning my way around it and doing some mods.

Long live the DMF!!!  chug

yeah man....LL the DMF  waytogo

i joined TOB the day before the sh*t hit the fan. i just bought my Foggy and i couldn't figure out why i wasn't getting any greetings. i didn't realize there was a storm brewing...

i was (like most people who get a new brand of bike) on a quest to learn more about my bike. i couldn't even log on the site and there was no help. i got a PM from somebody to check out a new board with less drama...and here i am and very happy i'm here....THANKS to all!   chug

I just went over to TOB to take a look at the wreckage.  It is sad because it seems like many of the people who are left over there have turned on each other.  Lost of arguments to be seen.  (many had lots of negative things to say about those who came here)  So, while they are continuing their bitterness, we are being productive and talking monsters again!

Great to see.

Probably the last time I go back to take a look.

Back to the regularly scheduled programming, already in progress...

The knowlege base will fill up, we've already got new member who weren't really exiles from TOB, and brand new riders. They'll all have questions to ask, and we'll have answers.

It's great to see the real community of the DML rebuilding.

I typed the word "re post" in another thread and the board changed it to derby. Now I know why!

It's fine that there are several Ducati Monster boards.  I like this one, but I will check in at the others just to see what's going on there.  Kudos to the movers here for creating another Monster board, though.  I love the "no-ads" look and feel.
