Rubber gasket thing came out of the tank when pulling out the fuel pump.

What is that rubber thing that fell out of my tank when i pulled the fuel pump out?  its big, and is like a sleeve made out of black rubber but ill be dammed if i know what it came off of. Any ideas?

If it is what I think it is you should be able to all the way through the filler and up into a lip of some kind. Its about two inches across?

It'll just come out again if you reinstall it.
Put it in your 'take-offs' box.

Just don't over-fill the tank now, leave some air space.

oH i know what it is now, it came off the filler cap. Nevermind.
