Face planting with no helmet on (dont worry not graphic at all)

Some scans of a dudes face after he face planted on a motorcycle. Maybe the doctors on this forum can chime in on what the hell those two things are at the end...maybe he was having some sort of tube stuck in him while they scanned him?

Looks to be an NG tube (goes into stomach) and tracheal tube (for breathing).

Wouldn't an NG tube, by definition, go through (what's left of) the nose?

But yeah, looks like tubes to stomach and lungs, the better to keep them functioning separately.

Also, notice how well his front teeth held up against the pavement. You only think you hate going to the dentist now.

I saw it a couple times in the OR where stuff was just too destroyed to put a hose through there.

It looks like the first pic is after some healing has taken place. Notice how the jaw bone is almost lining up and the facial fractures are mostly healed?

You're right, gonna have a hell of a time with those front teeth.

One is at least and endotracheal tube, not sure about the others. The only other thing that you could consider would be an oral gastric tube for feeding, but why at that point? That would be something they could do later on....
