I say go with the Kia Sorrento, it will get you to and from work, and if you are asking us which one of these cars to get you really have no idea which car you want  [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]..

you are comparing a compact car/sedan/2+2 sportscar and asking which one to get?... don't you first have to decide which car type suits you?

sort of like the people on this board that say "should i get a s4 monster or a D16 as my first bike?".. uhhh they are completely different bikes for different purposes, yes they are both "motorcycles" but vastly different uses.

same with these cars.

Personally i say go with the porsche, but then again if you need room for an actual trunk then the porsche is useless, if you want something that is more like a normal compact car then the m3 is the way to go, if you need to actually fit a couple of adults in the back seat from time to time then the m5 is the way to go.

so the real question is what do you WANT?

I think the main issue with the GT is the paint scheme.  If they sold it without stripes it'd match any blah german car that everyone else has for flash.

I vote for the M5 cause:
   red and white  [puke]
you're obviously over the 335 for a reason, so why get the M3?

I vote M5.  Nothing brings out the devil in me like a serious hot-rod sedan.  Love 'em.

I've driven the new M3 sedan and the M5 on the track.  M5 is impressive, but the shifting is sluggish, and to be honest it was a little disappointing.

The new M3, holy shit.  The new dual clutch is ridiculous- you can't feel it shift in automatic mode with your foot on the floor- in SMG it's no comparison to the M5.   Plus, the motor is incredible-  an 8400 rpm redline V8...awesome.

If you had picked a hardtop Porsche that would be my choice but you picked the girls /glendale wannbe gangster model. So of the three...M5.

Do an ED on a M3.

Take it easy for 500 miles, then go cruise the autobahn.  [evil]

are you paying cash for whatever you get?  and could you pay cash for all three at once if you wanted to?
Like this is the racing, no?

M5 for sure.  A 190 mph grocery getter.

I got to drive one around a test track for a while with the nanny turned off.  WOW!

If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

I've had an M3 and a CarreraS . The Porsche is so smooth and the interior has nicer materials and the sound of the Boxer 6 behind you is awesome.

The M3 is a car that's not happy unless it's being pushed into the higher rpms.

There are BMWs every where . Porsches are still more of a rarity.

Bimmers have a 4 year /50,000 mile warrany  w/ FREE Service maintenance and Porsches have a 4 year / 50,000 mile no FREE Service Maintenance warranty.

Back in 2002 I had a BMW Z-8 but no FREE Service then. I paid $172 for an oil change at the Dealership.       Dolph      :)
