My advice is #2 like everyone else.

But then again, I would almost always recommend finding another way to travel besides planes. I am almost to the point of not being willing to part with that much cash to be treated like absolute crap. I think the world moves along to fast these days anyway though...

Your taking your mom to Amsterdam?

You'll need more than one day to see it.

Especially if your wife is going to want to see the Rijksmuseum and your mom is going to want to spend some time in the coffee shops or hitting up the brothels [and you know she will]

But a week doesn't leave a whole lot of time.
A flight from Amsterdam to Prague is your cheapest option, on Ryan air, easy jet, bmibaby, or one of the other low cost carriers.

A train cost more than a plane but you get to see the country, unless you take a night train then you get to lay awake all night wondering if anyone got on the train in Amsterdam who might be interested in stealing your shit or all of the cool shit you are bringing over for your brother.

Tell your mom to ask walmart for two weeks off and spend 3 days in Amsterdam, maybe your brother who I hear is a bad-ass will be willing to meet you in Amsterdam show you a few sweet places and take you back to Prague.

Just my 2c

You work on your mom and I'll work on making it happen. See you soon.
