Ha!  So in reading about that second battery powered kiddo Duc, I came across the following review:

"We own several ride-ons. Most are the variable speed 2 - 5 mph type. This one is similar, but when set to high speed it will pull the front wheel off of the ground. It raised to a straight up position when my 6 year old first tried it. (Literally stood straight up onto the back tire.)...  We do like it, and it definitely has the "cool factor" for the kids."

Now for the side pod removal, headlight and clocks lowerin, maybe adding an open clutch cover.... Possibilities are endless!
