I was shocked when my man Jorge fell off so late in the race.  What a bummer!

I'll keep rooting for for Nicky, too, but I don't expect much for the next few weeks.  He seems to be in a fair amount of pain and that makes it really hard to get out there and do your best.  I feel for him.  At least he has a few weeks to heal up before the next race.

You were shocked??   That's why I love the guy!  He was back on his bike before it stopped sliding.   He had stayed in the saddle for too many races in a row.  I was starting to wonder if I was going to have to switch my allegiance to Spies or Hayden.   applause applause  They've been having some pretty exciting races, too.

I think his mechanic must have started putting a higher strength loktite on his training wheels.  Some of that "NASA approved" shit.    laughingdp

Yes, we have been enjoying all kinds of races lately.  I am really digging Spies myself.  I think the only races I haven't enjoyed as much are all of them with Matt Mladin.  He really needs to retire or move up.

I wondered if his mechanic was putting loktite on his seat.  When he starts pushing, the way he does, it is nigh onto inevitable he's coming off sooner or later.  He is looking great and finally getting the wins and recognition he deserves.  Coming off the bike is just part of the sport for him.  I like that mindset.   Grin  Push the envelope.

P.S.  Love the highside across the finish line idea, DucMouse.   waytogo

It was a seriously fun race, especially when Rossi just said "excuse me" and pushed right on through for 1st.  JB almost fainted, she was so excited.
