Man, I could not believe the paddock at Valencia last year.  They had all of these craaaazy trucks that would fold out into an entire building with a couple of stories.  Sometimes it'd take two or three trucks to make the building.  It was f'n insane.

toseland, gigantic highside again
casey goes really REALLY fast for a lap and gets another new BMW
nicky has some clutch problem and has to use the B bike, gets 11th
rossi just behind stoner, ho hum
the suzi's still pretty darn fast.  of course loris is faster than the mole
honda struggling; dovi is 7th with the fastest rc
hopefully RDP's 'focus on race setup' plan pans out; he was 13th
weather, once again, screws up the jerez test

Toseland dug his grave when he swapped with Edwards.  Toseland is gonna be back in WSBK and Spies will take his job next year I bet.

How many BMW's does he need Smiley
I was amazed to see how much faster he got on the second day. It's a good thing we have Rossi around to keep him honest.

It's nice to see the Suzuki's still going fast, I'm still crossing my fingers that with another manufacturer doing well well have closer racing... (crossing fingers not holding breath...)

AGREED on Toseland having dug his grave, but I am not so quick to think Spies will go to GP, based on money troubles with the series and the constraints they are putting it under. I'd bet if Rossi jumps ship, not many big names will want to be there for a couple/few years until the rebuild it. Spies is shrewd enough to probably sit in WSBK for 2010 as well to see what pans out for GP, but that is just my guess.

doesn't look like he's too worried about it:

If any of you guys didn't get to see the test, it's over on shift kontrol.
Was nice to start getting warmed up for GP.
Toseland looked like superman with that highside Shocked and Nicky was goin for the good ol' days of dirt track.
His pucker factor must have up around 12 or so, but he pulled it out nicely. waytogo
