His head and torso are over the right side of the tank and he's looking away from the turn (target fixation on where he doesn't want to go).  He's got the bike leaned over nicely, just needs to get his head and body on the inside of the turn and look at through the turn.

Hey Gus,

Do you ride anymore?  I don't! :'(
Let's get out one of these weekends!

G

PS Only if you have a set of leathers! [laugh]

PSS You have way to much free time on your hands! ;D
Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

he understands the concept just fine... he's negotiated that curve just fine by the looks of it.

body positioning? eh, you can be plenty fast without putting a knee down

seems more a matter of personal taste, i think? personally, i like the boy racer feel of leaning into the turn, jabbing my knee out and squaring my head... especially if i know someone behind me is watching  :P

@gm2
technically, he's turning right and leaning right LMAO ;)

btw - in most cases owning/riding a duc excuses you from actually knowing how to ride a motorcycle.

Just go to a track day and watch - there's a a strong correlation between skill and bike choice.

Oh and I forgot, matching leathers further excuses you.

I prefer to ride in a completely opposite manner.  I look through the turn real hard but barely lean the bike over! [laugh]

This guy might prove Matt's theory true!! [cheeky]

That shot actually looks like something you'd see in a Ducati brochure. I think we should change it from GusDuc to Sexy Gus!  :-*

PS Enjoyed the lap on Saturday. With the expection of the construction, detours for joggers, cages and starting issues, it was a great morning to ride.
Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.
