I have a problem with authority figures.

Except myself, of course.

The NMMR has never had any type of official leadership.  I merely volunteered to get all the paperwork going and get the group recognized with Ducati North America, get a logo, tshirts, etc.

Given that I moved, I figured I would unvolunteer myself  waytogo

I am still a moderator to keep the old rifff raff from the ex board from poking up.  Tis all.

Me, too.  It's bad.

On the NMMR leadeship thing, when I moved up to Colorado and attended a SoCO DOG meeting, it was a formalized dealio, much to my dismay.  They were at the point where elections were due.  Unbelievably, I got talked into  accepting the role of VP, snd I only accepted it because usually a VP has zero authority or responsibility.  Guess what.  The President stepped down and the secretary had the nerve to go off and have a baby.  Needless to say, the club has fallen apart, under my "leadership".  That will teach me to accept a role thinking I'd be invisible.  These cats up here are hard enough to even get out for rides much less hang out for races and ducnights.  Well, I am just posting up get-togethers once in awhile and the usual suspects show up and that is the way the Dogs roll.  Now that Pete is gone, it is down to KRJ and Butch.  We are so happy to have Dusty up here to add to our ranks.  She will probably migrate even further north though and merge into the MHM crew.  But, as with me, once an NMMR member, always a NMMR member.   [moto] for life!

Evenin' Hooligans!

Talked with Zaster today, & he has hooked us up BIG TIME with an account at any Carquest in the city  bow down.   This is NOT a charge account, but a discount on parts... many which cross over to our bikes. If you have part #'s to match up or cross ref. pm me & I will pass on info for Zaster to look up (Royal Purple oil...I'm in!).  We are trying to get a list of part #'s, or descriptions for motos or cars so he doesn't have to look up one at a time to see what type of deal you can get. If we can get it somewhere else for less, he said he would talk with the "Big Man" & try to at least match it. Me personally, The fact they want to help us as a group & Zaster is the Operations MGR., I'm in regardless.
Any special orders will have to be paid in full, and will be shipped to my home address (would be a conflict of intrest if he were the contact address for billing or shipping).

This paired with what PJ & Moto Authority do for all of us is a great gift. There are great deals online I know, but, isn't it great to know that these folks are right down the street & are our friends, and always hookin' us up as much as they can?

Scottish, Plumber & Ratfink. I can see you guys already rubbin' your hands together.

Thank you again, Zaster.

You could see THAT?  That I Was rubbing my... er.. HANDS! yes HANDS together..  of course..   Shocked  Sounds like one hell of a deal to me.  Not sure I've ever gotten anything from Carquest before.  Seen them deliver at the dealership but never used them personally.

I personally am a fan of supporting those who are your friends. Duh, who doesn't believe that, thank you Karl for the deal. I've ah.... got a project coming up. Gonna need to find a place to work on it, but I have a feeling some trips to Carquest are in my future.  waytogo

applause '65 and it was the original F/E the 352, I think it morphed to the 360 in the next year. I got it from a guy who knew nothing about them and assumed it was a 360/390 for a couple years. I bought parts for it that way until I needed a head gasket and ran the numbers to be sure. 352 left me scratching my head for a minute.

I think the 61-62 were the unibodies, 63 had a straight I beam front axle, I think 64 was the year they switched to twin I-beam.
