So Desmolu just came home with the results. She hadn't been feeling so well lately and we got a bit of a surprise when the doc told her.

While I am in a part excited, I am also scared shitless.

Some of you might know that I am 21, and a college student. For now, I am not sure on what exactly we're going to do. Most probably, I'll try to take a job as a drafter and finish my schooling a bit later than I had originally planned.

Neither of us are particularly thrilled at the prospect of putting our lives on hold at the moment, but we got ourselves into this, and we're going to make it work.

Right now, getting our economics straight is the priority, the bikes will be up for sale soon; and as much as I hate to see them go, my priorities have changed in a way I thought it wouldn't be possible; there will be time for bikes later on.

Thanks for your support.

Wow, that's really gonna hamper things.  :-X Congrats on the kid though. I had a couple scares with my girl while I was in school. I hope things work out for you guys.

You might be scared shitless now, but when you're in that delivery room and the doctor hands you 'your' baby, all fear goes out the window.  There's nothing like it.

"there will be time for bikes later on."

That's true, I made it through marriage(s), kids, career and I'm into riding again after about a 10 year break.

Look on the bright side...if it's a girl, you can build that Mad Max themed bike you always wanted and put it to good use giving nightmares to potential suitors...

Congrats you guys.

Seriously? would you joke about something like this?

Well I guess you could say that we're officially engaged now. We're probably just going to elope, or have a small ceremony.
