Man. The horizontal from above shot almost makes it look like a three wheeler the ass end is so wide.

I was gonna say that. Or that from the top it looked like a Corellian cruiser from Star Wars.

Crap... I just geeked out on here.

Not a fan of the saddle bags on a sportbike.  It's just wrong...  Just like below.

I see a porsche going to the track with spare rubber in tow.  How is that wrong?

Maybe it's just me...   It's fundamentally wrong when you treat a race horse like a pack mule

what's wrong with saddle bags on a sportbike?

I'd like to see pics with them off, but with a tall screen and a big efi tank it would be a great streetbike.

+1   The bags looks perfect on 1098/848.  I think the only thing that would be ugly is when the panniers are removed there maybe some ugly frame left...  I'm just not sure how someone can be on such sport bike long enough that would require using luggage.

Is it just me, or did everyone start hearing Sir Mix-a-lot when they saw the top-view?

That just makes the bike more useful to the owner.  At least it doesn't have  a stretched swingarm.

+1. Some people need to carry stuff with them, but still want to ride a great bike. At least its color-matched, not leather with fringe and tassles.

I have to admit I don't really see a problem.  My 848 is the only bike I have and it would be great to be able to use it for some touring without having to carry everything on my back.

no sir.  i don't like it at all.  its like putting a supermodel in baggy sweats - you can still see her face and know she's hot - but the best parts are covered up.

Who cares what she wears, as long as you get to ride her.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
