I put the full Termi kit on last year and the stock exhaust has been sitting in a box in my garage ever since. I doubt I'll ever use it.

Is it worth anything to anyone? Should I list it in the "parts for sale" board? or Should I trash it?

There are 2 schools of thought on this.

1) Sell it and at least recoup some of the money you spent on the Termis. They're going for $50-100 on eBay, so you're not going to make much back.

2) Keep them in a box. When (if) you sell the bike, you can take off the Termi set and put it back to stock. As a rule, you'll never make your money back on mods if they go with the bike. You'll be better off selling them separately.

Option 2 also comes in handy on the off chance that you wreck and the aftermarket exhaust is still intact. Some people have put the stock exhaust back on a wrecked bike that the insurance company is taking because its totaled.

I'm sure others will chime in with reasons for or against.

If you ever get a "fix-it" ticket for the exhaust you're running, you'll be upset you don't have the stockers sitting in a box somewhere.

Same applies if they decide to implement emissions regs for bikes. I would keep it.

These 2 reasons are why I still have my stock 848 exhaust.

or send it to someone who crashes and needs replacements.     I sent most of my stock stuff to people in exchange for t-shirts from their local Duc shop.  They pay shipping and I get a cool shirt.

Not the best experience so if I send stuff now it's really to folks who have been around here for a while (one new guy haggled between 9.45 and just sending a tenner for shipping..wanted receipt etc.   I told him to not bother and keep the money...but I digress)

I figure keeping parts in the family so to speak will mean if I need a lever or a footpeg or something if I go down someone here will reciprocate.

I am looking for OEM cans for my 07 S2R1K. Mine are scratched up and would like to replace them untill I get something new, probably boomtubes. PM me if you want to get rid of stock cans that will go with my bike.
