I know where they are but they have this weird cap on them. How the hell do you get them off!! [bang]. They're plastic and completely seal the opening. There's not even enough space to jam a screwdriver in there.

I have an 05 S2R 800..

Thanks in advance.

Are you asking about the air bleeds?  Never seen those caps, but this should work.  Drill through the caps, but be careful not to hit the screws.  A hose on the drill bit to limit depth will help.  Then look for a tool with a hook that will fit in the hole and pull the caps out.

left handed drill bit to get through the caps that way if you do hit the screw it just backs out, instead of getting pushed in further and possible damage,  i believe those caps are EPA caps not supposed to be messing with things underneath the caps but then again who cares what the EPA wants us to do anyway

Yeah, I was thinking drill bit too. I was keeping it as a last resort and hoping for a more "humane" solution. I need to sych the throttle bodies so I have no option but to remove them.

A light tap on a screwdriver at an angle will break the front of the cap, then you can pry it out.

Get one of those Dentist type picks and take that cap off. That's what I did. I worked it from the side until it popped off. HomeDepot sells them.

Got them off. Thanks guys. Needless to say they didnt come off without a fight or in one piece (a shard almost flew right into my eye  [laugh]). I can start syncing now.

Thanks for the advice.
