So, I'm 32. By those figures, I should have somewhere in the neighborhood of $180K in savings? No way. Never gonna happen...
You didn't sell yourself to the dollar.

Congratulations. [thumbsup]

I feel you on the savings thing. I tried to tell the bill collectors that I'm good for it, but I have a liquidity crisis.

I'm lying, but if I was behind on the bills, that's how I'd frame it.

apologies.  [drink] = me

If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

A friend of mine and I pondered this very scenario (seriously) some years ago.

Then we each got married instead.

But this could be the solution to that problem.  ;)  [laugh]

if you haven't ever traveled, travel.

if you aren't into cars, getting a nice car is cool but if you aren't really into it, its useless.  if you don't really entertain and really enjoy being a homebody, then don't do the house stuff, most house improvements are for "other people to see" how cool you are, if you are happy with it now, then no need to put in more money you can always do that later.

if you can't think of anythign right now, then you really don't have a midlife crisis.

a mid life crisis is all about doing something that you know you will regret....not doing

All I can add is it's better to regret something you've done than to regret something you haven't.

I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...
