when i use the bbc codes (size=10pt][/size) to resize text, it doesn't shrink it down as much as it used to.
(brackets removed for demonstrative purposes)

this example was changed to 3pt text... it should be impossible to read (seems like before, anything below 6pt was very hard to read)

any ideas?

Change it to 2pt. ;)

Check your browser settings.   In Firefox, for example, you can optionally specify a minimum size even if the webpage is supposed to show it smaller.

In Firefox it is Tools > Options > Content > Fonts and Colors > Advanced > Minimum font size.

In IE it is Tools > Internet Options > General > Appearance > Accessibility > Ignore font sizes specified on webpages.

strange,.......that must have been automatically set in the latest FF update, as i have never even looked at those settings (and used to shrink text like a pro...)
